Do I need the Extension Plate?

The purpose of the Extension Plate is to quadruple the surface area of the Foldio360. If you are shooting bigger items, utilize the Extension Plate with the horizontal backdrop to create a wider, seamless white background for your photos. Please note that the Extension Plate will rotate with the turntable.

How to set up the Extension Plate

What is the purpose of the reflector plate? How to position it.

The mirrored reflector plate ensures your DSLR pairing for seamless automatic 360 shooting. Make sure to position the reflective side upwards and place it in front of the turntable where the IR transmitter (blue flashing light) is located. The IR signal will now be able to bounce off the reflector plate and reach your DSLR. Extension Kit with DSLR and IR censor

What is so unique about the backdrop that comes with the Extension Plate?

We designed a horizontal backdrop that you can magnetically attach to the Foldio3 when using the Extension Plate. This backdrop will allow you to create a wider, seamless white background for your 360° photography.

Compatibility

The Extension Plate is compatible with the Foldio360 turntable. Please note that the Extension plate will not fit inside the Foldio2 Plus studio and the Extension backdrop is compatible only with the Foldio3 studio.
